NSClient++ Help (#1) - SysTray install (#289) - Message List

SysTray install

In the documentation it says:

  1. Modify the NSClient++ Service

Go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services. Double click on the “NSClientpp (Nagios) 0.3.1.14 2008-03-12 w32″ service and select the check-box that says “Allow service to interact with desktop” as shown below.

What would happen if I don't do this step? What sort of behavior or problems will I see?

This in a Windows 2000 box.

    you wont see the system tray (so you might as well save your self a few k memory and not load it all togteher)...
