Non-default directory name kills nsclient++

Reported by: rgb Owned by: MickeM
Priority: 3 Milestone:
Component: Core Version: 0.3.8
Severity: Bugs Keywords:

Description

If the tool is installed in "C:\Program Files\NSClient\" rather than "NSClient++\" it doesn't read the NSC.ini file.

This results in "unauthorized connection attempted" regardless of authentication information. Diagnosed by attempting a different port - still went to port 12489.

run:

nsclient++ /svc

It always uses the "path" of the exe file starting it. So technically it should not matter, and in fact I always install it elsewhere (as does others) so my guess is you have installed it "twice" and have two clients...
